Common questions about our terrazzo products
What sizes are your products?
Please see the graphics at the bottom of this page for our standard sizes.
We offer custom size options up to the following parameters:
- Maximum Slab Dimensions: 58” x 116”
- Maximum Tile Dimensions: 48” x 48”
- Maximum Base Length: 48”
- Minimum Base Height: 3”
- Maximum Tread/Riser Length: 72”
- Minimum Tread Depth: 12”
- Minimum Riser Height: 6”
Are your products stain resistant?
Yes, epoxy resin and glass aggregates are naturally stain resistant. Marble and/or cement binders used are sealed prior to shipment to assist in stain resistance of those materials.
Can I install terrazzo made with an epoxy resin binder outdoors?
No, epoxy resin is not UV stable, therefore it is not suitable for outdoor installation.
If you need terrazzo for an outdoor installation, we can make any of our colors with all marble aggregates in a cementitious binder. If you like a color with all glass aggregates, we will work to create a custom color to fit your design needs with marble and shell aggregates.
Can I get a Custom Color?
Yes, DTE matches either existing terrazzo or create entirely new custom colors. Reach out to us today to find out how to get a custom terrazzo color for your project!
*Note: Custom Color Samples are subject to a $50.00 color setup fee. Any fees charged for customer color samples will be credited back to the customer after receipt of a Purchase Order for materials made in the matching color sample.
What are the lead times for materials?
We make our terrazzo to order, so lead times vary from project to project and are dependent on both raw material availability and current workload of our production shop. Product lead times will be confirmed at the time of order placement.
Do your products come sealed?
Yes, all DTE products come factory sealed, unless requested not to be sealed by the customer.

Products That Out live YOur Building
Terrazzo frequently outlives the structure’s entire lifespan. Buildings typically require many replacements over the course of their lifetimes. However, terrazzo installations completely prevent the necessity for finish maintenance.
Every day, hundreds or even thousands of people pass through an airport, hospital, or school. Terrazzo can endure intense pressure brought on by heavy machinery or high-traffic activity because it has high compressive strength. With only basic cleaning daily, the surface can persist for years because of the material’s resilience.
Never Compromise Your Perfect Design
Never again will you be unhappy with the way your product matches the decor. Terrazzo comes in a multitude of patterns and colors to fit any atmosphere you wish. Because terrazzo is made by mixing various colors, resins, and materials, installers may get creative with logos, graphics, patterns, and many other aspects. Terrazzo flooring offers a virtually endless array of design options.
Perfect Material For All Occasions
Since ancient times, terrazzo has been used for countertops, walls, floors, and more. Terrazzo is a modern, environmentally friendly material that produces stunning results. Its production process enables you to get the desired look and feel while consuming less energy than other flooring materials. Terrazzo does not need grout joints, making it both attractive and durable. Furthermore, because terrazzo floors are nonporous and resistant to moisture damage, they are simple to clean (i.e., spills). Additionally, they are considerably faster to install than many other choices since they are simpler to cut than most other types of stone materials!
Terrazzo Is one of the most cost effective floorings
Many people believe that terrazzo is expensive because of the initial price. However, because of its resilience, simplicity of care, and attraction to traditional design, terrazzo really provides a high return on investment, which many building owners are unaware of. It is therefore the most cost-effective flooring option when looking at the expenditures over the long run, even if it may not initially match the budget. Terrazzo is a timeless finish that never goes out of style, is anti-microbial, easy to maintain, and lasts the whole life of the structure.
Warranty Overview
Dynamic Terrazzo Environments (DTE) offers a limited warranty on any precast terrazzo components that are found to be unsuitable for normal use. This warranty only covers terrazzo products prior to any installation or fabrication alterations performed after the products have been received by the purchaser. Any precast terrazzo products thought to be defective in their components will be investigated by DTE. If the products are found to be defective in their components, DTE will provide a replacement of the terrazzo product. If a replacement of the terrazzo product is not achievable, DTE retains the option to offer a refund up to the cost of a replacement for the terrazzo products.
